A Plan Tools team assisted the Colorado Department of Local Affairs in reviewing housing strategies submitted by 60 applicants for the Affordable Housing Development Incentives Grant Program, and "best practice" strategies for an additional 35 applicants for the Strong Communities Infrastructure Grant Program.
Plan Tools teams have worked with county and municipal governments to adopt qualifying housing strategies and update zoning codes that will remove barriers to affordable housing development. To view an example project, please click here. |
